Marko Laakso is a loony finn working for the Secure Programming Group at the University of Oulu (OUSPG). AusCERT advisories from summer 1996 pushed him beyond the point of no return by raising the question "More of this same kind, again?". Ever since, he has been pestering AusCERT, CERT/CC and vendors with bug reports too long to be read. Coupled with other folks from the OUSPG he is (un)fortunately making progress on the front of systematic vulnerability assessment, with hope of not having to worry so much in the future.
