Kathryn Kerr is Manager, Analysis and Assessments for AusCERT and works closely with AusCERT's coordination centre team to develop AusCERT's analytical and assessment products and capabilities, including for the soon to be released AusCERT National Incident Reporting and Alert Schemes.

Kathryn has been primarily responsible for AusCERT's contribution to the 2002 and 2003 Australian Computer Crime and Security Surveys.

She took up the position in July 2001 after 12 years with the Commonwealth government in various security analyst positions, including in the area of critical information infrastructure protection.

She is currently undertaking a Master of Information Technology.
