Tim Cranny Tim Cranny has been integrally involved in research and development activities for 90East, specifically in the areas of cryptography and security architecture. Tim was the technical lead for the design and development of 90East's FedLink and sConnect solutions, which are leading-edge secure connectivity architectures, and has been heavily involved in several major enterprise security architecture projects. Tim obtained a PhD in pure mathematics at the age of 24, and worked for the next six years at the Australian National University's prestigious Centre for Mathematics and its Applications as a research mathematician, specialising in non-classical solutions of fully nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations. Tim then moved into the field of complex systems, and spent two years applying his mathematical and research skills to the areas of emergent computation, artificial intelligence, and genetic algorithms, before leaving academia to take up a position with 90East. |
