Gary has over 10 years experience in information security and risk management, developing cryptographic, smart card and network security software, and managing network and system security in financial, academic, and defence sectors. He has done consulting to large and small business and has conducted information security risk management programs for the Queensland Government. He holds a masters degree from QUT in the field of information security and two bachelors degrees. He is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
