Mark is Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and has managed computer and network security for large banks and telcos in the region. He now heads ICT Risk, a specialist consulting and risk management company.

Mark chairs the Board of the Information Security Research Centre at the Queensland University of Technology. He is also Vice Chair of the Information Security Interest Group in Australia, sits on the Standards Australia Committee IT/12/4 for Information Security, and consults widely in the Asia-Pacific region.
