Matt Barrie
Sensory Networks

Matt Barrie is the CEO and CTO of Sensory Networks. Mr. Barrie has over 13 years experience in the network security industry spanning research, development, services and academia.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Barrie held the position of Vice President, Asia Pacific and Director of Packet Storm within the Information Security Group of Kroll-O'Gara - the world's largest investigations and intelligence company. At Kroll ISG, he started the Network & Systems Assessment Group, which he built rapidly into a solid business unit with high profile clients. Mr. Barrie has an extensive background in Information Security and has consulted for Fortune 500 corporations worldwide, including New York financial and banking institutions, major financial institutions, law firms and Silicon Valley technology companies. While at ISG, he acquired, redeveloped and managed Packet Storm, one of the world's largest Internet security resources.

Mr. Barrie is also a lecturer in Information Security and Cryptography at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of Sydney.

Previously, Mr. Barrie was co-founder and Vice President of Products at Dilithium Networks, Inc., a leading provider of multimedia solutions to the mobile infrastructure industry, and an Investment Manager at Innovation Capital, an Australian/US venture capital company focusing on high technology.

Mr. Barrie holds first class honours degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Sydney, in addition to a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
