Nick Ellsmore is a Director and Principal Consultant of SIFT Pty Ltd. Nick is one of Australia's leading experts in the field of the legal regulation of cryptography and its export licensing, and provides lectures at the University of NSW and Sydney University on the regulation of information security.

Nick has completed the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and provides consulting services to clients in industries including institutional banking, payment services, IT outsourcing and software development, in both technical and management aspects of information security.
