Scott Ferguson is a well-known identity in the Australian information technology market. A veteran of 25 years, Scott is one of Australia's leading authorities on information security and data communications. In May 2002, Scott joined Check Point Software Technologies as Managing Director Australia and New Zealand and within 12 months was accredited with making serious inroads in the Australian VPN/Firewall market, and continuing to increase the leading market share that Check Point holds in these technologies.

Scott's career spans three continents and boasts senior management roles leading the industry's heavy weights through the dynamic information revolution. Prior to joining Check Point, Scott was the Director of Worldwide Sales for Cisco Systems, having attained the position after holding the regional roles of Managing Director Australia and New Zealand and Asia Pacific Channels Manager. Prior to this Scott was the 3Com Australia and New Zealand Managing Director.
