Steven graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Information Technology and has had several years experience with database programming in the banking and insurance sector. He joined the Defence Signals Directorate in 2000 as a software developer and subsequently joined the Computer Network Vulnerability Team where he now acts as the Technical Adviser and provides mentoring to other staff. His current duties include providing complex technical support to the CNVT when performing network security audits, incident response, and advanced research into computer security issues.
