Conference format

AusCERT2011's main conference program runs for three days, followed by two days of tutorials for delegates to gain in-depth, hands-on, technical experience.

We try schedule the program to meet delegates’ individual interests, for example, AusCERT2011 will have an intensive SCADA stream for those with an interest in this area, and there will be an Executive Program for high-level executives to discuss IT security issues with their peers in a smaller group setting. Several side events are also held before and during the conference to allow special interest groups to meet.

A summary of the format is:

• Sunday – Golf and conference registration
• Sunday evening – Welcome cocktail party
• Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday – Main conference program
• Monday evening – Sponsor’s cocktail party
• Tuesday evening – Gala Dinner and SC Industry Awards
• Thursday/Friday – Tutorials (1 and 2 day choices)
• Thursday – Executive Program
