About the AusCERT2012 Executive Program:
We all know being CxO of a major organisation is an enormous responsibility, with some of the most difficult management decisions.
Become more confident in managing your organisation’s information security at the executive level. Learn from information security experts and network with other senior managers.
For example, how would you handle:
The goal of the AusCERT2012 Executive Program is to get to the heart of the issues facing executives managing information security and its related impacts, by exploring scenarios that only senior managers face.
The AusCERT2012 Executive Program has been developed specifically for CEOs and senior managers of major Australian organisations to network with their peers, and discuss information security scenarios in a closed and informal atmosphere.
At the AusCERT2012 Executive Program, CEOs, CISOs and senior managers will gain advice from leading cyber security experts and other executive managers.
At the AusCERT2012 Executive Program provides Executives with an opportunity to discuss their security problems in a non-technical forum with leaders of other organisations who face the same sorts of issues.
At AusCERT, we understand there aren’t many CxOs who can justify the time at a 3-day information security conference. Therefore, we’ve developed this half-day program, where some world-renowned cyber security experts together with the heads of major Australian organisations, will discuss the management issues of information security, run through hypothetical scenarios, and plan strategies for tackling the overall security of your IT environment.
This forum is limited to a small audience to facilitate discussion and interaction. The venue is the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, with state-of-the-art conference and accommodation facilities.
The AusCERT2012 Executive Program precedes the main 3-day program of the AusCERT2012 11th Annual AusCERT Information Security Conference, and will be followed by an executive lunch in Videre Restaurant, on Level 21 of Royal Pines Resort. It's the new restaurant that just opened a few months ago that has majestic views of the Gold Coast.
The AusCERT2011 Executive Program is only $325 for AusCERT members, or $550 for non-members. Event registration is limited to senior and executive managers of major organisations.
