BYOD: Bring Your Own... Disaster?
In 2009, there were 300 million mobile app downloads; In 2010 that number jumped to 5 billion; In 2011 we saw an increase to 17 billion. How many of those apps are wreaking havoc on your corporate network in 2012 due to corporate cost saving BYOD initiatives? More importantly, what is the real cost of the new security implications of BYOD?
Is it even possible to have a secure corporate network when BYOD is the fastest growing business trend of the decade?
