Dr John Harrison assists large enterprises to confidently innovate with ICT to achieve the best digital transformation outcomes.   He current leads various cyber security and ICT risk functions, and cyber capability enhancement initiatives, at Brisbane City Council.    His work was instrumental in the successful cyber defence of the 2014 Brisbane G20 event, and also the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, and he is preparing for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
