The International Cybersecurity Challenge (ICC)
The International Cybersecurity Challenge event is the first global Capture the Flag Event (CTF) designed to raise awareness, upskill and test young cybersecurity talent on the global stage. Organised by the ICC Steering Committee comprising European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), PlayCyber (Katzcy) for US Cyber Team, The University of Queensland (UQ) and other cybersecurity organisations from across the globe, the event is the “World Cyber Cup”. The event will see teams from Oceania, USA, Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Canada compete at AUSCERT2026 in May.
The Teams will face off against each other during the tutorial days (19th and 20th May) at this years’ conference.
Wednesday evening
Welcome Reception
Come along on the Wednesday event to kick off AUSCERT2026. The welcome reception will start at 5 pm and conclude at 7 pm. You’ll have enough time to catch up with friends, both old and new. After the welcome reception, take a client out to dinner, enjoy the nightlife of Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach or simply kick back in your room.
Thursday evening
AUSCERT2026 Gala Dinner

The Gala Dinner includes pre-drinks on the lawn, a beautiful three-course meal and drinks, exciting entertainment and the AUSCERT Awards on Thursday 21st of May.
Join us in the Ballroom of the Star, Broadbeach for a spectacular night. This is a great opportunity to network with key clients and new contacts you’ve made throughout the conference. Entry to the AUSCERT2026 Gala Dinner and Awards is included in the delegate registration fee. Sponsors may purchase a reserved table at the Gala Dinner.
