Cornelius Mare is the chief information security officer (CISO) at Fortinet Australia. With more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and cyber-resilient solutions, Cornelius drives strategy within the Fortinet Australian business and also an advisor for Fortinet customers. Before working in two separate roles at Fortinet, Cornelius was working in application and data security with the global solutions architecture team at Imperva.

Cornelius current role provides strategy and leadership for executives. He works closely with Fortinet customers to assess and reduce their business risk. Cornelius focuses on compliance and regulation as well as cloud environments to ensure organisations are equipped while also safeguarding their data and applications.
