Dr. Carlopio is trained as an organisational psychologist and has started and run two successful cyber security businesses.  He has consulted to scores of major Australian and International businesses.  James has published over three-dozen articles and five books on various socio-technical issues and has written a regular section for the Australian Financial Review BOSS magazine.  He held the roles of VP (DVC equivalent), Director of Executive Education, Deputy Dean/Deputy Head of School, and Discipline Lead.  He has been a facilitator of short-term meetings and large-scale organisational change, and a speaker at numerous meetings on organisational strategy, cybernetics, human factors/ergonomics, human technology, and organisational behaviour.
