Mikhail Lopushanski is a globally recognized cybersecurity and risk management leader with over two decades of experience across financial services, government, and shared services in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada. He has been named a Top Global CISO by Cyber Defense Magazine in 2024 and one of APAC’s Top 10 CISOs in 2023.

He led Technology and Information Security Risk at Australia’s largest customer-owned bank, overseeing security strategy, regulatory compliance, and data risk management during a major merger. His work included implementing security frameworks, managing third-party risk, and advising on AI policy for secure data use.

Previously, as Chief Security Officer at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, he directed enterprise security, privacy, and threat intelligence functions for a decade. He founded the AU-ISAC financial sector cyber threat intelligence sharing group and established key government security collaborations, driving enhanced cyber resilience and compliance.

Currently, Mikhail serves as an Advisory Board Member at Secure Forte, providing strategic guidance on cybersecurity, supply chain risk, and privacy assurance, helping develop the innovative SaaS platform for continuous risk assessment and third-party risk management.
