Kylie is an award winning cyber security professional and is the Head of Security for DXC Technology for the APJ MEA Region (ANZ, ASEAN, India, Taiwan, Japan, Middle East and Africa) leading almost 1,000 people in cyber security consulting. She also wears the hat of CISO for the region.
Kylie is responsible for security across infrastructure, applications and services including cyber defence, digital identity, secured infrastructure and security risk management.
She spent 10 years of her early career as a military field engineer with a security lens embedded into all of her projects (infrastructure, networks, explosives ordnance and water). In this time she was fascinated with decoys, information warfare, leadership models, and communications, so attained a Masters degree in Sociology to understand human dynamics and decision making in more detail. After her time in engineering, Kylie moved into IT and Cyber security and has degrees and qualifications in cyber security, teaching, management and sociology.
These days Kylie likes to apply the models learnt in the military and her studies in cyber security to help strengthen her own company, clients, and the overall nation’s cyber posture.
