Kylie is a Cyber Security Sociologist and is the Head of Cyber Security at DXC for Australia and New Zealand which involves managing hundreds of security specialists and embedding security throughout a vast number of complex projects, as well as leading security incident and response. A sought after author and speaker, Kylie has appeared in the Australian Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald, and industry media and at AusCert on many occasions attracting great feedback. Last year she published a paper on the motivations of cyber criminals for an international peer reviewed cyber journal and has made submissions to government on cyber matters including Digital Identity Legislation, SOCI Amendment, and Open Data and Release Legislative Reforms paper. She is a specialist in the human centric side of cyber security making sure the technical and people side are always integrated. Kylie has qualifications in cyber security, data risk, teaching, management and sociology, as well as numerous certifications in cloud.
