Matt Nock is a Cloud Architect at Feros Care, where he leads the infrastructure and cybersecurity team. He has worked in IT for 19 years, including 13 years at Feros Care, and has played a key role in the organisation’s digital transformation across cloud, infrastructure, security operations, and governance.

Matt’s work spans both strategy and hands-on delivery, with a strong focus on making cybersecurity practical, defensible, and aligned to organisational risk. He works across areas including Microsoft 365 and Azure security, identity, endpoint management, zero trust access, security monitoring, business continuity, incident response, and risk treatment planning.

Working in the aged care and disability services sector has shaped Matt’s practical approach to cybersecurity: balancing risk, compliance, limited resources, and the need to keep essential services running. He is particularly interested in the point where technical controls meet governance and operational reality.
