Sergeja Slapnicar is an Associate Professor in Accounting at the University of Queensland Business School. She researches internal audit, accountability and governance in cyber security risk management. Sergeja has over 15 years of Board experience serving as a non-executive Director. She has worked extensively with the Slovenian Directors Association and has trained over 1,000 executive and non-executive directors in accounting, finance and cyber risk management. She is a member of the Education Committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Australia.
